THE MINERAL MAILBOX
Fine Mineral Specimens And Gemstones
Micromounts
Being an avid micromounter myself, I understand your needs, and I will not sell any Micromounts that I would not
want in my own collection. I do not sell mounted specimens, as I leave that part up to you.
Personally, I mount all of my own specimens into 1.25" Perky boxes, because I prefer larger specimens and greater flexability than micromount boxes can provide. This also allows for a larger and more comprehensive label than a
micromount box cannot provide, associated minerals and locality data for instance.
We will be paying particular attention to acquiring a larger and more comprehensive selection of fine and rare micros
in the future. I often search through the auction websights to obtain good material that is impossible to obtain
nowdays. I hope you find something of interest for your own collection. Enjoy!
Preparing a micromount list is labor intensive, but we strive to keep our prices reasonable. We have excluded the
commonly available species from this list. I learned along time ago that selling micromounts is not a highly
lucrative endeavor, but I do it because I am a micro-nut and I love minerals and others that share this same interest!
